Boo boo all you need is 2 egg yolks, butter, and lemon juice for a basic Hollandaise.
Melt the butter , about 150g, so about 4 decent tablespoons. Then set it aside. Put the egg yolks and lemon juice in a bowl and whisk them together. Then get a pot of simmering water but don’t fill the pot all the way, then place the bowl with the egg yolks over the pot of simmering water, whisk until it thickens a bit. But if you have the simmering water too hot or too high underneath the bowl of egg yolks then the eggs will scramble. Then over the heat add the melted butter to the eggs slowly and whisk until you get it thick and smooth.
And that’s it boo, hope it made sense!
